The Public Housing program consists of two departments, the Occupancy Department and the Maintenance Department.
The Occupancy Department manages the Public Housing properties of Spring Brook Courts, Spring Valley, and Hillside Heights. The department consists of one property manager and three assistants that work out of the Spring Brook office.
The Maintenance Department maintains the Public Housing properties. They take care of the daily work orders, revitalizing apartments for rental, lawn care, and snow removal. The department consists of nine employees with lead maintenance personnel for each site. There is one maintenance employee on site at Hillside Heights and the remainder of the employees work out of the maintenance garage located in Spring Brook Courts.
