Housing Assistant Job Posting:

Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Housing Assistant will have the primary day-to-day responsibility to perform the full range of routine to complex technical and administrative tasks of the Housing Authority.  This position manages the areas of eligibility, leasing, occupancy, and rent calculations.  Duties also include conducting initial eligibility interviews; logging, tracking, maintaining and updating client records and responding to inquiries from the public via telephone and/or in person.

Associate degree in business administration or related field and two years’ experience with public housing programs or any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Proficient in using software such as WORD and EXCEL is required.

Maintenance Supervisor Job Posting:

Full-time position for qualified individual to supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance department. Directs workers in performing structural repairs to buildings, performing ground maintenance activities and general cleaning and upkeep of buildings.

High School education or equivalent required. An equivalent combination of formal education, training and work experience which produces the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the essential duties/responsibilities of the position required. Experience in public housing or multi-family units required. Previous supervisory experience required. Good starting salary and benefit package. Full-time position available for qualified individual to perform a wide variety of administrative tasks related to office operations, in accordance with company policies and procedures.  Complies and maintains applicant files, interviews applicants and verifies information received from applicants.  Obtains required reports on applicants and investigates changes in tenant status.  Conducts initial and annual housing inspections on housing units.

Associate degree in business administration or related field preferred and two years’ experience implementing housing assistance or community development programs.  Proficient in using software such as WORD and EXCEL is required.
