Maria Nino
Maria Nino, Executive Assistant, has a bachelor degree in accounting and has been with the housing authority since August 2001. She began her career at the Moline Housing Authority as a Property Manager Assistant, then worked her way up to Property Manager, then was the Technical Services Assistant, and finally came to be the Executive Assistant.
As the Executive Assistant, Maria is under the direction of the Executive Director and supports the daily activities of the Executive Director and the Authority. She handles procurement, the capital fund program reporting, accounts payable, and serves as the recording secretary at the Board Meetings, to name a few.
Some of the certifications that Maria holds include public housing management, capital improvement fund specialist, understanding your responsibility for accessible public housing, advanced procurement, leadership, and capital improvement modernization and construction contracts. |

Lorena McMillan
Lorena McMillan has been with the Moline Housing Authority since July 2003. Since that time she has worked in the occupancy department and currently holds the title of Housing Manager.
Lorena is responsible for all 486 Public Housing apartments located at Spring Brook, Spring Valley, and Hillside Heights. She oversees lease recertifications, rental payments, complaints, maintenance, and any additional day to day operations of the public housing program.
Lorena holds certifications in Public Housing and HCV rent calculation, fair housing and reasonable accommodations, eligibility, and occupancy. She also has her Public Housing Manager and Public Housing Specialist certification.

Dana Munson
We welcome MHA’s new manager of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) department, Dana Munson. Dana has over 31 years of experience in affordable housing, including most recently leading the HCV department at our neighbor housing authority in East Moline, the Greater Metro Housing Authority. Dana looks forward to expanding the program to maintain our high-performance status and remaining responsive to the needs of our HCV participants, participating landlords, and the affordable housing community.
