The Moline Housing Authority has published their DRAFT 2023 ACOP (For Public Housing) and DRAFT 2023 Administrative Plan (For Section 8).

The Moline Housing Authority has developed its DRAFT of the “2023” Streamlined Annual Plan.

 

It will be available for review during the 45-day comment period at the Moline Housing Authority’s Offices beginning November 25th 2022 located at:

 

Main Office at Spring Brook Courts

4141 11th Avenue A

Moline, Illinois

 

Any comments or recommendations from residents or the general public on the

2023 – Streamlined Annual plan will be received at the 4141 11th Avenue A address.

 

The MHA hours of operation are:

Public Notice of Fiesta Manor Waiting List Opening

 

Moline Housing Development Corporation (MDHC) will begin accepting Pre-applications for Fiesta Manor on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 8:30 AM.

Applications will be accepted in person at the Moline Housing Authority’s Spring Brook Offices located at 4141 11 AVE A Moline, IL   61264

 

Fiesta Manor is a HUD Multi-family property with project based rental assistance for six 2 bedroom apartments located in one building.

 

The Section 8 Multi-family program is a rent subsidized program.  Waiting list applicants must be income eligible to qualify and must meet

the established policies of the MHDC.

 

To qualify for a 2 BR unit, the family size must be between 2 – 4 persons.

The Income Limits are as follows:

 

                2 household members  3 household members  4 household members

                $30,350                                 $34,350                                 $38,150

 

However, at least 40% of admissions must meet the extremely low income limit.

                $18,350                                 $21,960                                 $26,500

 

Placement on the waiting list is by date and time of application.

Effective immediately the Moline Housing Development Corporation is closing the waiting list for our Fiesta Manor apartments due to the length of the list.  This list will be closed until further notice and applications will not be accepted.

New Parking Policy for all MHA Public Housing Sites.  A new, tougher Parking Policy was enacted, effective October 1, 2019, and applies to Spring Brook, Spring Valley, and Hillside Heights.  A copy of the new policy can be viewed HERE.  If you have any questions, please contactt he Spring Brook Management Office.

 

The Moline Housing Authority offices will be closed for teh day on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 for training purposes.

The Moline Housing Authority's Section 8 Waiting List is now closed. Approximately 2000 HCV applications were received on August 1, 2019 for the Waiting List and are now being processed by the housing authority. Applicants who log-in to check their application status or who call the MHA office WILL NOT see their name or position on the waiting list until all applications have been sorted and added, a process that will take at least 45 days.  We anticipate this being complete by 9/16/19. We will make an announcement on the MHA web site when the updated Waiting List is available for viewing. Please be patient and thank you for applying for housing with the Moline Housing Authority.

The Moline Housing Development Corporation is accepting Pre-Applications for their Fiesta Manor location.  Fiesta Manor (an income based six-plex 2 bedroom property located in Moline) will be accepting pre-applications starting November 27th and will remain open until we receive 50 new applications.  You may apply at the Moline Housing Authority, Spring Brook Courts, 4141 11th Avenue A, Moline, IL  61265 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.  *Must be income qualified*
