Are you currently taking Applications?

We are currently taking applications for public housing only. You can obtain an application at the Moline Housing Authority Main Office at 4141 11th Avenue A, Moline IL 61265, download an application here, or apply online.

Does Moline Housing Authority provide emergency housing?

We do not. We go by date and time of application. The same for both public housing and Section 8

How long will I have to wait on the waiting list?

Efficiency - 6 to 12 months
1 bedroom - 1 ½ to 1 ½ years
2 bedroom - 3 to 3 ½ years
3 bedroom - 3 to 3 ½ years
4 bedroom - 3 to 3 ½ years

How can I check my current waiting list status?

You can either go to the main office with photo identification or check your status online.

How will I be notified that my name is at the top of the list?

For Section 8 a letter will be sent out. For public housing you may receive a phone call and/or a letter.

Does Moline Housing Authority rent to individuals under the age of eighteen?

Only if the individual is emancipated through the court system.

Who pays utilities for the Public Housing program?

Moline Housing Authority pays all utilities.
