What Do I Need to Apply
Applying for Housing
Currently the Moline Housing Authority is accepting applications for 0-3 bedrooms with Public Housing. We are not accepting HCV (Section 8) applications.
Initial Waitlist Placement
You will need to provide the following information listed below on the pre-application for initial placement on our waitlist:
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Your mailing address including city, state, and zip code
- Estimated annual income for your household
- Head of household’s social security number, date of birth, and sex
- Any additional household member’s name, date of birth, and sex
- Which bedroom size you are applying for
- If you will need any translation services during the application process
Determining Eligibility
You will need to provide the following information listed below when determining eligibility (MHA will contact you when you enter this phase):
- A completed full application including all household income, asset, and expense information
- Photo Id for every household member 18 years and older
- Social security cards for every household member (If applicable)
- Birth certificate (certified copy) or permanent resident card
- The last 5 years of your rental history including the landlord’s contact information
